Ingredients
Scale
- 100 g medjool dates
- 20 g maple syrup
- 15 g unsweetened cocoa powder
- 30 g almond butter
- 40 g oat flour
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp espresso powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 45 g dark chocolate (for coating)
- 5 g coconut oil (for coating)
- Sea salt flakes (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Add all the ingredients (except for the dark chocolate, coconut oil, and sea salt flakes) into a food processor and blend until a sticky dough forms.
- 2. Divide the mixture into 10 portions, oil your palms, and roll each portion into balls.
- 3. Transfer to a plate lined with baking paper and freeze for about 10 minutes.
- 4. Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave, add coconut oil, and stir until smooth.
- 5. Dunk each brownie ball into the melted chocolate, tapping off any excess, and sprinkle with sea salt flakes.
- 6. Return the coated brownie balls to the plate and freeze for another 15 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
Notes
- If you do not have medjool dates, use any dates but soak them in water first.
- If the mixture is too sticky, add more oat flour. If too dry, add more maple syrup.
- You can drizzle melted chocolate over the top instead of dunking.
