Description

Delicious and healthy Chocolate Brownie Balls made with wholesome ingredients, perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth without the guilt.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 100 g medjool dates
  • 20 g maple syrup
  • 15 g unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 30 g almond butter
  • 40 g oat flour
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp espresso powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 45 g dark chocolate (for coating)
  • 5 g coconut oil (for coating)
  • Sea salt flakes (for garnish)

Instructions

  • 1. Add all the ingredients (except for the dark chocolate, coconut oil, and sea salt flakes) into a food processor and blend until a sticky dough forms.
  • 2. Divide the mixture into 10 portions, oil your palms, and roll each portion into balls.
  • 3. Transfer to a plate lined with baking paper and freeze for about 10 minutes.
  • 4. Melt the dark chocolate in the microwave, add coconut oil, and stir until smooth.
  • 5. Dunk each brownie ball into the melted chocolate, tapping off any excess, and sprinkle with sea salt flakes.
  • 6. Return the coated brownie balls to the plate and freeze for another 15 minutes or until the chocolate is set.

Notes

  • If you do not have medjool dates, use any dates but soak them in water first.
  • If the mixture is too sticky, add more oat flour. If too dry, add more maple syrup.
  • You can drizzle melted chocolate over the top instead of dunking.
